13 Homemade Dog Treats Recipes

We’ve put together quick and easy recipes for making healthy dog treats. One of the benefits of making dog treats is the lack of aesthetics, your pet doesn’t care what the treats look like as long as they are tasty.

Peanut Treat

  • 2 cups of flour
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 2 eggs
  • water

  1. Mixing – add eggs to flour, then peanut butter.
  2. Introduce water into the resulting mass, until the consistency of the hard dough
  3. Roll out the dough into a sheet.
  4. Using a glass or any mold, make small pieces.
  5. We spread the cookies on parchment paper and bake at 180-200 degrees for 20 minutes.

Chicken Treats

  • 200-300 gr. chicken fillet (cubes)
  • ½ boiled rice
  • 3 tablespoons rice flour
  • 1 tablespoon parsley (chopped)
  • 1 egg

  1. Mix together rice, flour, egg, and parsley.
  2. Roll the chicken in the resulting mass.
  3. Arrange the pieces on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake at a temperature of up to 130 degrees until tender – the appearance of a crisp.

Cold Meat Appetizer

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 cans of baby food with meat (mashed potatoes)

  1. Mix and shape into balls.
  2. Send to the refrigerator for 20-25 minutes.

Meat-Flavored Cookies

  • Whole wheat flour
  • Oats
  • Flax-seed
  • Beef broth
  • Peanut butter

  1. We take all the ingredients in a 1: 1 ratio, except for the broth.
  2. Mix and add the broth until we get a mass that looks like thick sour cream.
  3. We spread in slides on a baking sheet.
  4. We bake for 20 minutes at a temperature of 160-180 degrees.

French Fries

  • Sweet potato
  • Coconut oil
  • Cinnamon
  • Turmeric

  1. Cut the potatoes into slices.
  2. Mix oil and spices (in small quantities).
  3. Dip the potatoes in oil and place them in a colander to remove excess oil.
  4. We spread it on a baking sheet (on paper) and bake at a temperature of 150–160 degrees for 20–30 minutes (until crisp).

Cold Apple Treats

  • Yogurt
  • Apples

  1. Grind apples in a blender and mix with yogurt.
  2. Pour into ice molds.
  3. Freeze.

Cheese Snacks

  • 4 cups whole grain flour
  • 2 cups grated cheese
  • Some sunflower oil and water

  1. We mix flour and cheese.
  2. We introduce liquid to get a very thick mass.
  3. We spread it in slides and send it to the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

Fragrant Apples

  • 1 cup instant oatmeal
  • 1/2 apple syrup
  • 1 egg

  1. We mix all the ingredients.
  2. We spread in slides on a baking sheet.
  3. We bake at 100-130 degrees for up to 20 minutes.
  4. During baking, we moisten the treats with water and a spray bottle.

Vegetarian Treats

  • Oatmeal or rice flour
  • Peanut butter
  • 2 bananas

Instructions:

  1. Mix all the ingredients, form into balls, refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. After cooling, the balls will not stick together, they can be stored in a box, but in the refrigerator.

Ginger Apples

  • 1 cup brown rice flour
  • 1 cup diced apple
  • 2/3 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Instructions:

  1. Mix flour, yogurt, and butter.
  2. Roll the apples in the mixture.
  3. The resulting delicacies can be sent to the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes or baked at temperatures up to 130 degrees for 10-20 minutes.
  4. If your dog is not allergic, you can drop a little honey on each cube before baking.

Apple and Carrot Treats

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup grated carrots
  • 1 egg
  • ½ spiced applesauce

Instructions:

  1. Mix flour and carrots.
  2. We introduce the egg and sauce.
  3. We spread it in slides and bake at a temperature of 130–150 degrees for 30–40 minutes (the treats should be crispy).

Diabetic Treats

  • ½ cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 eggs.
  • 300 gr. beef liver (finely chopped)

Instructions:

  1. Mix all ingredients.
  2. Put on a baking sheet in slides.
  3. Bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees.

Vitamin Biscuits

  • 2 cups oatmeal, brown rice flour, or whole wheat
  • 1 tablespoon of parsley
  • ½ cup milk powder
  • ½ spoon of refined salt

Instructions:

  1. Mix all ingredients.
  2. Add a little purified water (the mass should turn out to be very tight, slightly moistened).
  3. We form balls, sprinkle them with water, bake for up to 60 minutes at a temperature of 160-180 degrees.
